Bargain Basement RPPX-16 x 8-100 Snake
| This is a used EWI RPPX-16 x 8-100 reel snake (16 channel send, 8
channel return, 100' in length). This snake is in good condition
other than a slightly bent frame and a repaired slit in the outer
jacket. The 3" slit in the jacket is roughly about 40 to 48 feet from
the reel panel. As you can see from the pictures below, the slit
only penetrated the outer jacketing and not the inner wrapping or
conductors. The slit was closed with vinyl mending glue then covered
with a 6" piece of heat shrink. All send and return channels were
tested and work perfectly. The box and jacketing have some scuffs, dings and scratches and duct tape spots from normal use but the snake is in overall good condition. The frame is slightly bent but the reel rolls smoothly. The reel handle is also included. |
