EWI Tourcase

Model MC-550
mic stand case.
The case is equipped
with 12 removable inner tubes. The tubes measure 39 1/4" in length
and 4 1/8" in diameter and are designed to fit most collapsible
tri-pod mic stands
The case has one removable cover (lid) with four heavy duty
ball corners. The lid is secured to the case with 2 each recessed
butterfly latches. Padded flip handles, 6 total, are arranged both
vertically and horizontally on both sides to allow lifting of the
case from any orientation. The rivets on the handles are
backed with backing washers to ensure strength and durability.
The extrusion is all
aluminum and double walled. The side panels are constructed
with 3/8 inch hardwood plywood with a black ABS laminate surface. The case is
assembled with good quality rivets and comes
with four, 4" casters, two of which are locking style, and
caster board. One side of the case also has 4 rubber feet to enable
laying the case on its' side.
The case is shipped
with the casters un-mounted and included inside the case.
Mounting is simple and only requires a 12MM wrench or Crescent
wrench. All the hardware is included to mount the casters and
the mounting holes are pre-drilled with backing tee-nuts already in
place.
These cases are
manufactured to exacting tolerances with excellent fit and finish.
